No, I haven't played VP2 actually.
I can see where you're coming from about SO3. In places, the battle system was good. I only spent about 20 hours in the game before I'd had enough, but I can imagine that the battle system would be one that gets better as the game went on.
But really man, Fayt. I thought Tidus was bad, but Fayt really infuriated me.
Perhaps I should give it another go one day. It's about 5 years since I last played it, might have grown to like it a little more since then.
