He said some pretty interesting things, many of them hard to deny. “Activision's going to try it, because they're greedy pigs, and they're bold," is one of the best things any analyst has ever uttered. I hope he's wrong about the Bungie thing, though. His analysis of most of the big publishers seems to be true, as well.
As far as the Nintendo predictions, it could go either way. There is the possibility that Nintendo won't win back the core OR the casual crowds in huge numbers. Not saying that will happen, just that I think Nintendo has some work to do; they can't just walk into next year thinking they'll automatically be successful. Early 2013 might make or break the Wii U.
He also appears to be spot on about the digital distribution portions of the industry, and unlike many other 'doom and gloom' analysts, he's right that the gaming industry is pretty healthy when you don't focus completely on boxed games.
