Maybe he is returning to Squenix to remake Vagrant Story or work on FFXII HD.

Unfortunately not. I've asked him on Twitter, he replyed to me this morning.

He has said he will NEVER go back to Ivalice. He wants new projects.

I want to ask him if he will ever go back to Square Enix, since he rumoured to be the scenario writter for FF15.

However I very much doubt he will answer that question.

He will never return to Ivalice? That's terrible news!

I guess it's safe to say that his new project is not for Square Enix. I wish him all the best in whatever he does. Sadly, he's slowly becoming a nobody in modern gaming. He hasn't worked on a single AAA game this gen.
