Journey is the first viedeo game soundtrack nominated for a grammy while what you posted was the first video game song.
I'm not shocked that it got nominated, but I'm shocked that it's the first one ever to be nominated. If soundtracks such as Skyrim's, Zelda's, Mario Galaxy's, FF's, Uncharted and many more have never been nominated, I seriously fail to see how better Journey's is compared to those I mentioned. Deserved the nomination but I think it had to be seriously overated in order to be the first one. But maybe it is the begining of a new trend and we will see more video game nominations more often, nomination that won't hold a candle to past games that did'nt get nomination in the past.
