If so, making everything else photorealistic wouldn't be a problem at all, and the characters could just be some animals or some made up creatures like many games do anyway. Some genres are going to benefit immensely from photorealism though, like Racing Sims. |
Yes, I'm mostly talking about photo realistic human characters... What I'm talking about is that games nowadays is going for a "real world" look, albeit with some great art styles, but they're still trying to make the humans look human, and in the end that might be a bad idea a few years from now...
