Ah, I see what you did. The way it works is that if you search "wii U" you get only the results for wii u... and right now is its 100% peak. But we want to compare it to "wii". So you search for wii, and add a term for wii u. This will show you the historical interest peaks in the first four decembers of sales for the system, and how this month compares. Today wii is 49/100 of the 2009 peak. wii u is at 21/00 of that peak, with both terms growing. You add them together because a) google views them as seperate searches and b) many people searching for wii u only search for wii. The current searching is 70/100 of the peak, or 70/97 of the wii launch:
