The producer behind Xilia said that they will likely release the sequel in 2013 as well if the original does well in the west.

judging from the sales of Graces f(according to vgc) then it should be a given.

I guess comparing it to other Tales games, Graces did pretty good on the PS3. I don't know what Namco's sales expectations are though with these games and at what sales they at least break even. It would be interesting to know.

I think making it a multiplat would have helped them to broaden the appeal and maybe break the 1 million mark. With just a PS3 release that looks like a tall order. Don't really get why they don't port it over to 360. It probably wouldn't cost them much at all.
