I finding it amazing people saying they would buy one system over another because of power specs. I buy systems for the games they play. A machine could have loads of extra power but it may never get used by developers. Even if it is used, it may not make the game more fun. I think there is a good chance that I will buy the next XBox, but not for its power. I think also you may see few developers using the power if it is much above the other systems. If WiiU and PSOmni make up a large percentage of the audience, you would design games to play on those systems as well as NextBox. The extra cost for pushing the NextBox power wouldn't be worth it, especially for Japanese developers. If these rumors are at all true, NextBox will be the last out and have the highest price tag, meaning its audience will likely be the smallest for some time.
