Since Wii U launched last week, i think all Wii, PS3, 360 became the last generation consoles. Is it a milestone for PS3 to surpass Wii in Europe or for 360 to surpass Wii in USA? No, i don't think so.
Wii printed tons of money and brought high profits to Nintendo in this generation and was the best selling console through 2007 to 2010. Till now, it still has 20million leads worldwide.
To pass it when Wii is close to the end of its life cycle is not a milestone. I really don't know what you guys will be excited for or celebrate for.
