Foreshadowing what will happen to Sony's gaming division if Sony doesn't get itself out of its hole (credit-wise).
Actually, I doubt that Nintendo would buy Sony's gaming division. There's nothing of any value they'd actually get out of it, that they couldn't get from buying certain existing independent studios. If Sony does end up selling their gaming division, it'll probably end up under Activision or EA.
