#31 - SSX Tricky (PS2)
As guessed by no-one (boo!) SSX Tricky was a surprising treat when it came out 2001 and quickly became one of my most played sporting games of all time. I'm not really one for anything in the genre (aside from a few stints on Tony Hawk), but SSX Tricky perfectly mixed fast arcade gameplay with beautiful neon environments, incredible track design (Tokyo Megaplex still remains a challenge to this day) and a surprisingly deep trick system. I thought it couldn't get any better, then in 2003 my mind was blown yet again, but I'll discuss that later in my top 50... :)
Clue for my #30 - Current gen sequel which was churned out in less than a year yet somehow turned out miles better than the original; perfect for co-op Steam gameplay.
