I'm not sure I believe alot of what's actually in these rumors, but I think it gives pretty good insight into the mindset at Sony and what they have planned.
I'm betting the plan is to continue intergrating as many types of entertainment into the system as possible (possibly the reason for the "Omni" name?) so they can give people as many reasons as possible to buy the system. In short I bet the plan is launch early, launch big, launch profitable.
I'm have my doubts about the headset part of this. I think by now companies have realized that unless they can come up with a way of playing that is more intiutive than using a controller than it will fail as pretty much every attempt thusfar has (We'll have to see about the WiiU).
