No chance in hell I'm paying $60 for any multi-plat on the Wii U that's on the PS4/720, sorry Nintendo. Even if the only difference is the PS4/720 versions run in 1080p versus the Wii U one being in 720p ... nope. I work hard for my money, not going to piss it away on even a moderately downscaled version.

Who really cares anyway. I buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games. Been that way for 15 years now, Wii U was unlikely to ever change that.

Third parties don't give a sh*t about Nintendo. Of the entire third party community the only company that showed up with exclusives were Ubi Soft, and that's with two (by their own admission) low budget projects.

1) all the games you play now are like 500p or 640p native

2) the WiiU still scales them up to 1080p

3) I'd bet you'll likely never notice a difference, just like people don't see a difference between PS360 now even though in almost every game, especially early in the gen, 360's were technically superior. (only talking about 3rd party ports of course)

Fact is... with WiiU you get Nintendo IP and you'll likely get all AAA3rd party content in a fashion that will be for all purposes identical.

1) What? Examples, please.

2) Most TVs scale up to 1080p. What's the difference there?

3) No difference between Wii U and 720/PS4? We'll certainly see about that...lol

This is Wii repeating itself all over again. Buy it for the first party, but don't expect 3rd parties to do much.

1) Halo 3 is the most prominent one that comes to mind.

2) GPU will always scale better than a TV, and some TVs won't take  500p as an input resolution.

3) We will see indeed.  If sony is using an AMD trinity chip for their CPU and GPU, it won't be that much better at gaming than WiiU.  Microsoft could probably blow both out of the water if they wanted to, though.
