It's a disappointment is that´s the real clock speed of the Wii U CPU.
Wii U will have the same problems had PS2 like the frame rate drops 'cause the CPU is too slow.

Not really.

People keep making the same mistake. WiiU is not CPU centric... its GPU centric.

That is why it has a modern architecture GPGPU. Same style will be in the neXtBox and PS4.

Current and past gens did a lot with the CPU, while new gens will do almost all of it in the GPU and the CPUs role for gaming will be reduced, greatly.

This is why the rushed ports for launch have some rare issues as compared to the PS360 versions. They are made with heavy CPU use in mind and WiiU is not. Considering WiiUs CPU is arguably lower spec'd than the PS360, you get frame rate issues. But with the next gen, it will all be on the GPU and therefore the CPUs can be lower spec'd and not cause the same bottleneck.

Next gen games will far more easily be scaled up or down to be on WiiU vs others just as PC games are scaled up and down for the great variety of hardware available to a PC. Sure, you'll lose certain fidelity and likely go from 1080p60fps to 720p30 or 60fps. But the rest will remain... mostly.
