There's a large casual market on the 3DS, and people really trust the Nintendo brand above everything else. With Mario, you don't get burned.

They could go back to their old standard of quality control, but I guess developers would bring out that old argument how Nintendo's standards are too high hence why we don't develop for their systems lol.
