I played both LBP and Infamous, but not their sequels. Lbp got a whole lot of hype because it was so a new idea (create/share/play- full customization). Lbp2 was good, but there was no hype.

Infamous benefited from the comparison with Prototype. The former got insane hype from Sony fans because it was an exclusive (I likes it, but prefer Prototype).

In other words, I don't think that the majority of their sales should be attributed to bundling, but hype instead.

That is interesting though.  Honestly I find LBP2 to be so much better than the first game.  

InFamous i really liked the 1st game but I didn't think it was anything special.  just a good game, but I didnt like the second 1 at all.
