My personal favourite female Playstation character (besides Nariko) is the little-used but always awesome:
Seriously, watching her chase down terrorists with a shotgun in Syphon Filter 2 after covering my back while disarming viral bombs just reminded me how awesome she is and how better a character she was than whiny, frustrating Lian Xing.
