Someone is overlooking the fact (clearly written in the OP and in a table posted in the 2nd page of the thread) that the smartphone market grew by more than 45% (the whole cellphone market a little less, but more than 44%) and while Apple and Samsung grew a lot, and Nokia, RiM and HTC fell horribly both in market share and units sold, Sony fell a little in market share, but it climbed rankings up to third, and, more important, it grew quite nicely in units sold, more than 41% YoY. 41% is less than the overall market growth, but it's still a good performance, particularly if we consider that many important competitors are plummeting. Not comparable to Apple and Samsung's growth, but good.
