Will there be a God of War IV?

I feel like SSM are stuck with God of War. On the one hand, they've done what they want to do with it. But on the flip side, it's Sony's second-to-third biggest IP and there's not a chance in hell they're just going to let it be dropped. I'd agree with Sales in that respect that it won't - and probably shouldn't - be dropped.

Fans may lose faith with more of the same Greek-mythology-Kratos stuff, but equally it's a series that's going to pick up new fans along the way as much as it loses older ones. They could reboot it in a different mythology, but I'd imagine we'd lose the iconic design of Kratos which has become ingrained with the Playstation brand after all these years.

It's a tough one. Interested to see what happens after Ascension nonetheless.
