top gaming characters 2012

And, uh, I just realized that most of the games I've played this year are from last year. This is what happens when you're poor and refrain from buying games at full price. Also, I spent the first third of 2012 MMOing.

i have same problem, only bought games from 2011 :P and diablo 3 and mass effect 3 from this year , spend most of the time in  moba games.

Making this thread is a great way to know who are the best games out there, because characters are very importante to me.

Yeah, I agree.  I love unique and intelligently written characters, especially when good dialogue is involved.  Borderlands 2 hits all those notes.
