I used to be an avid pc gamer but nowadays I just want to play games and not bother with anything else.
I go back to pc gaming now and then and it is a lot easier to enjoy pc on the big screen nowadays thanks to hdmi. However my pc doesn't fit in with the rest of my av equipment, needs a lot of cables to operate, limited to stereo on hdmi, takes longer to start up with plenty of extra steps to go through to launch a game and internet (porn) is always only 1 alt-tab away. I simply get more gaming done on a console. My backlog of steam sales games says it all really.
I'll get back to pc end of 2014 if Star citizen delivers. Looks like a good reason for an upgrade.
