If you want to play online with other people (coop or not) on Bordelands 2 you should better buy it now as you'll find more players playing it now, and with the 50% that you are saving you can have almost enough to buy the season pass for the 4 DLCs that it will have.
Personally I don't care about online, so I'll wait.
