Rayman games arent very good to begin with

origins was, imo.  plat'd it on vita and loved every second of it .. which truely adds to my current disappointment.

I have Platinum for Rayman Origins on PS-Vita as well. Brought me back to being interested in platforming games.

I also tried the Rayman Legends demo on Wii U kiosk. One of the stages in the demo had no Murphy stuff while the other stage had mandatory Murphy stuff where the computer takes over Rayman while you control Murphy.

The stage which required Murphy had pretty small portion of stage requiring Murphy and was surprised that computer took over Rayman. I had been thinking some part of the game levels will be locked away just for people with co-op partners so in that sense it was a good surprise that single player people wont be missing out on any content. The Murphy play itself wasn't platforming nirvana like Rayman but still interesting. I remember enjoying the tilt controls and not "tapping" as much. I do remember that the game maintained a sort of rhythm and tempo even during the Murphy controlled section. The game is gorgeous to look at in motion and has great music so tapping a few things is a small price to pay for the rest of what they have going right.

You should go back and try out the stage that doesn't require any Murphy. Don't expect all the stages to have required Murphy sections. Look forward to what I still think will be one of the best games in the Wii U's launch window.

New Super Mario Bros U on the Wii U is excellent fun for me to play with my wife using Wii Remotes held sideways classic NES controller style while our two 4-year old kids share the Gamepad helping or hindering us with the "tapping" Murphy like Boost Mode support. The Murphy stuff in Rayman Legends is more sophisticated and varied than the Boost Mode stuff in NSMBU.
