Looks like that 580 is working wonders! I need more VRAM. I've been working on performance for my setup lately. I've squeezed out another 5-10 frames depending on what's going on. My Whiterun goes around 25 FPS now. "Huge" improvement from the 15-20 I used to get! Maybe I'll look for a 670 on Black Friday...

Here are some of my latest shots. Tweaked the lighting to be a bit more vibrant but still pretty realistic and reapplied full 2K HD textures (had to swap to the "LITE" version before as my system would come to a complete halt for a few seconds if I turned fast before).

Wait, you're getting 15 - 20 and now 25 FPS? With a 580? How's that possible?.

My laptop's 6770m gets about the same amout of FPS, and about 30 - 40 on open fields. The only time it goes into 15 is on Markarth. And that's with my current setup, on Ultra and with Shadowmaps = 4098.
