From what I've played of the beta, I was expecting much higher. You know what, I'm with those Halo 4 fans. FUCK METACRITIC.

Those Halo 4 fans were complaining about 2-3 dodgy reviews that weren't grading the game on it's merits but on their own personal feelings that didn't represent the concensus of the fanbase or even the other reviewers.

PSABR has scored consistently low scores based on gaming review system and there is a concensus on it's quality, not just a few crazy people who's reviews have been torn to shreds with good arguments.

Of course you can still say fuck metacritic, like we all can. However you're fucking it for very different reasons which would be "fuck all reviewers". Halo 4 fans have said, "fuck bad reviews"

If your opinion is "fuck all reviews that have consistently scored the game rather low" then by all means say it, but there's no need to reference Halo 4 in that sweeping statement, because it's an insult to the Halo 4 fans who had very valid concerns with the few bad reviews.

If Halo 4 had scored 70-80s across the board with a couple of 90s, well that would be different and I wouldn't be making this post.

It's a totally different scenario with a different average and range of scores, sure, but a few Halo 4 fans were still saying that the metacritic score is irrelevant, and the average score of the reviewer doesn't match the average score of the consumer. I haven't played Halo 4, or any Halo game before that, so I wouldn't know what I feel it deserves, but I've been consistently enjoying games with 70-89 metacritic and despising games with a 90+ metacritic.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm explaining this, I put next to no thought into my original comment and wasn't serious at all. I wouldn't think too much into it.

If you enjoy games that are 70-89 on the metacritic no need to worry you will enjoy the games so have fun with it :)

Regarding the halo part most people were expecting a 90-94 metacritic for it.  Anybody who expected higher was not thinking realisticly.  It got a lot of bias reviews that lowered it lower than what it should have gotten is why people were so upset with it. Not microsoft/sony bias but Call of Duty bias.  If Halo 4 and Call of Duty wasn't released so close to each other I honestly believe the metacritic would be a little higher. Personally I'd give halo 4 a 9/10.  Halo 4 shouldnt have recieved anything lower than an 8/10.
