This really doesn't have to be technical when it comes to calling for factual evidence when posting an argument. It's pretty much common sense... We've established PSV is trying to offer a console experience on the go, correct? Is it as good as havng a current gen console on the go? I don't think so... Therefore I don't have a problem calling it a wannabie console experience on the go, second rate console experience on the go or anything in between. If you want to be positive I guess you can say...almost as good as console experience on the go. Would that be less of a problem? Actually I like...close but no cigar console experience on the go.

Then you're not stating your opinion, you're trying to make an argument.
"Sorry if I hurt your feelings by stating my opinion on a console...as rediculous as that sounds. "
I hope that resolves that statement, which explains why someone was annoyed.
Rightfully so though, because even though you argue this -- it's incredibly flawed. It's a cop out to say "This really doesn't have to be technical when it comes to calling for factual evidence when posting an argument. It's pretty much common sense... " -- Because any strong argument can be found "true" to any person who reads the statement, suggesting common sense is not valid as well -- because each persons common sense is based on their own upbringing.
So let me argue the opposite, I would argue it is as good -- Why?
1) Apps -- Both the PS 3 / 360 have access to several quality media apps, this allows for it to be a media device as well.
1A) The Ps Vita also has access -- Hulu plus, Netflix, Qonline, picture and movie viewer
Hence, if the Ps Vita has access to the wealth of media apps -- it therefore can be considered "Console media on the Go."
2) Games -- 360 and Ps3 have a wealth of games, over their span of 6 years. Each having their own exclusives.
2B) The Ps Vita since it's launch already has "console" games. See the ports of Marvel vs. Capcom, See Metal Gear Solid HD, Street Fighter x Tekken, Mortal Kombat, PS All stars. It also has it's own exclusives based on console franchises: Uncharted, Wipeout, Assassins Creed.
Hence, if the Ps Vita has access to similar console games and Exclusives, it can be considered " Console Gaming on the Go"
3) Technical: The PS3/ 360 both have powerful arichtecture based on the GT7900, and quad core processors. Which allow for it to do a wealth in games and allow for user input and cross media play.
3B) The PS Vita has access to a quad core chip, and a GPU that is comparable if not more powerful than the Wii.It also has access to cross media play and has an output resolution comparable to console resolution (As most games still do not fully utilise 1080P or 720P)
Hence, if the Ps Vita is capable of similar performance levels, it can be considered " Console Quality on the Go"
Case rested.
