^well, you could probably just farm for better stuff a bit. who knows, you may get a better mace and some attack up cards. It took me a week to take that damn Grendel down on the Asian version. Had to farm for a better weapon. and some cards.
I used a sword warrior the first time I beat that gorilla. Almost ran out of time actually. Was on my last life and was thinking "wtf! why wont you die?!" lol!
