I wouldn't mind a prequel. I love the Mass Effect series and if they do it correctly it could be really good. Like doing the events of the game history like Turians vs Krogan war, the Geth revolution against the Quarians and even Shepard's mission where only he survived (can't remember the name). I think that could really be a cool idea.
