42. Grand Theft Auto 2 (PS1)

Unlike the modern GTA games, you don't actually have to play any of GTA 2's missions to 'complete' the game, as progress is achieved by earning a particular score and then moving onto the next area. As such, it's entirely possible to just go on a rampage with a tank and beat the game, although the best I managed in that regard was progressing through an entire area just with the tank. If you don't want to do that, playing through the game the traditional way by completing missions is also just as fun as treating it as a chaos simulator.

Game 41 is regarded as an all time classic, and it may have been higher on the list had I not played it 7 years late.
