I was the same way for a while. Once my high school girlfriend and I felt like we were ready, we never seemed to get enough time alone together to go for it. Then I moved off to college... to make a VERY long and complicated story short, we broke up. Interestingly enough, I did end up losing my virginity with her a few years later (without us getting back together -- I told you it was complicated).
