How exactly would faking being poisoned help me?

I mean, if I don't die tonight that's a fucking guaranteed lynch on me tomorrow. It's not like I needed to gain the town's today, by the end of Day Two I was considered town by most.

In the unlikely event that you're town, why the hell do you waste your time with theories that don't make any sense when you stop to think about it for 10 seconds?
