I don't think we should have to re add you though since it is a Nintendo ID not a system FC though.  You should just be able to choose your existing Nintendo ID on your new system when you get it.

I hope you're right. 

But if it's tied to that particular Wii U like the rep said, I'm thinking I'll have to recreate it.  I don't know how it's going to work. 

Are you having the same issue as Mr. Khan in http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=150120&page=1# ?  Do you have an older HDTV? 

Not at all, my Wii U works perfectly.  I purchased my HDTV off of a friend and he's pretty bleeding edge with A/V tech so it can't be more than 5 years old (it doesn't do 1080p, just 1080i).  I tried switching it to 720p and everything with the Nintendo rep on the phone.  No solution.  He told me the Wii U has internal software? that auto centers the display but mine is off so I'll have to get a new unit. 

I wish they put an auto-center feature in the options like they did with the Wii.  Would've solved all my problems.
