I have no incentive to upgrade to W8 on my pc. I'll just stick to W7, more than enough for the next decade.

whats your take on Windows8 from a user perspective?

It is a pretty solid OS in terms of features. As a desktop OS there are definitely noticeable improvements to the overall design the only issue is that it feels like there are two OS' on the system. If you do all your work on the desktop mode it is great or if you do all your work in Metro it is also great but switching between the two is a little jarring.

Edit: Firefox had a spasm lol to finish the rest...

As a desktop OS it is their best overall release ever as it is fast, streamlined and it gives you great access to a lot of the higher level/techy features.

As a mobile/tablet OS it is their best OS release yet as metro is fantastic.

As a combined OS? It is worse than Windows 7 at the moment although I would predict that once the bugs are ironed out and I get used to it I'll be pretty happy with the result.

That's my take too. I was wanting a Turkish response.... But he's buggered off as usual. Hit and run.

What kind of response can you get from someone who has never used it? I'm typing this on Windows 8 and overall I am pretty happy with it. I've already found some of the apps to be a really good extension like for instance the mysky app for recording shows when I know I'll be busy on the computer for a few more minutes. I use the left hot corner and drag over Sky and then click on a show and go 'record' it's a pretty neat way of doing things.

Tease.
