Cuz we all know that sales = quality

People constantly state that Dreamcast had the best launch in terms of quailty games ever. It continued getting support of great games, but that didn't save it from selling poorly.

You don't like Vita games? That's fine. But don't act like it doesn't have great games. Why do you think vita games get so many nominations? Gravity Rush goty etc. As a matter of fact, the vita does have great games. I've never liked Halo, but I would feel like a fool to deny that it's an incredible exclusive.

Uncharted:GA is the best looking handheld game to date. Now whether you prefer Rayman Origins kind of graphics (which I do) is another thing.

I didn't say it doesn't have great games though, I said that as it stands the 3DS offers 10x the quality Vita does, to me.

Plus, sales do say something at least. People see more value, and therefore 'quality' in their purchase of the 3DS.

Sales say that Cod is infinitely better than Alan Awake, which is far from the truth. Same for just dance and Rayman Origins. Sales are not a good indication of quality. Mario Galaxy 2 is considered by critics and fans alike one of the best games ever and its sales don't reflect that at all especially compared to New SMbWii even Galaxy 1.

Like I said, Dreamcast is a perfect example of a good console with great games that flopped for various reasons, lack of quality titles not being one of them. The psvita is doing terrible despite its great titles. The constant doom and gloom has put off a lot of people from buying it or made some even sell their vitas. Had Sony been able to cut the price like Nintendo did with 3ds, things might have been quite different. Guess we'll never know

Sorry to burst your bubble - POP!

But the Dreamcast didn't have lots of great titles, it had a few fantastic ones and about 90% arcade shallow arcade ports that were great for half an hour bursts but not exactly top quality software designed for home. I owned one and had a few good games on it that were original and interesting, but there weren't a lot of them like you wrongly state.

The last paragraph is just filler and not true, the vita doesn't have lots of great titles, it has a few.

We're not stupid, we know sales doesn't = great game. But it's a pretty good rules of thumb for mainstream titles. When it's a game that's original and different then the rule doesn't apply anywhere near as much. Hence Alan Wake is a great game but it was a bit weird and the concepts used were quite strange and certainly not a mainstream game.

Mario Galaxy 2, although mainstream Mario antics, was just another Mario Galaxy. Everyone bought Mario Galaxy 1 because it was an introduction to the Wii, most people bought it WITH the Wii that I knew. Mario Galaxy 2 was for people who wanted more, and since the software ratio on the Wii is abysmal it makes sense. Also, you have contradicted yourself by saying great sales don't = great game. NSMBW and Galaxy 1 were considered great games and they got great sales.

If you want to bring the Dreamcast into it, we all know what happened to that don't we.

In summary you're being overly positive towards the Vita and basing your argument on cherry picked ideas that don't really add up imo.
