strange there was so much momentum building around x86. So Power 7 then? That is the only CPU architecture I can think of with 4 way multithreading.

Unless they are using something Magny-Cours, the Opteron 6136 has 2 4 core dies but that seems unlikely.

well it can't all be true if everything contradicts. There just seemed to be a lot of hints at a x86 CPU. 

I would personally go with X86 simply because it makes for a nice and neat all in one APU. I believe for instance than when the PS2 chips were combined they registered something like a 24% improvement in performance from that alone. I just decided to follow you because you're a Kiwi! Haha.
