The Wii has MUCH better 3rd party games at the moment than the PS3. I give that even in America. Only game worth buying for the PS3 right now in america is Resistance. and in japan, Resistance and Motorstorm. Both are Sony. (so not counted)
Why have the Wii sold over 2million Nintendo brand games. and just over 500,000 3rd party? The PS3's 3rd party games suck. Why are they just below 500,000... with that few number of PS3 sales?

it's not a failure. 3rd party know they can't compete with nintendo at launch period with zelda, wii sports, wii play + wiimote and wario, especially in japan. these are simply too many must-have titles for a lot of wii buyers. that's why ea made march its european and american «launch date» with ssx, tiger, godfather and moh. and that's why sonic appears only in march in japan. normal people buy one game, not a bunch of them.
wii has a ratio of 2.1 games per console in japan.
ps3 has 1.04 even with resistance and motorstorm out.
how many games will nintendo launch in the next two months? super paper mario?
