Can the ‘poor’ performance of the Vita kill third party support for Sony’s PS4?

The thing is most people don't think the Vita's asking price matches its value when compared to other devices in that price range like iPods / iPhones.  Therefore, the Vita's price IS a problem.

Sony should have done what Nintendo has been doing with their handhelds for the past 2 decades...simply release incremental upgrades to their exising PSP platform.  Instead they made the same exact mistake they made 6 years ago with the PS3... trying to push an expensive, bleeding edge piece of hardware onto the mass market that most consumers either aren't interested in or think it's too pricey / not enough value to justify a purchase.

We are saying the same thing just backwards. Result is still the same.
