Can the ‘poor’ performance of the Vita kill third party support for Sony’s PS4?

The PS4 will have 100's of third parties working on it; there aren't that many western third party studios working on handhelds. Nintendo does well to create IPs for their handhelds by the grace of their own studios, Sony does that seldom.
