I find it truly fascinating how you omitted Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, Kingdom Under Fire, and Perfect Dark Zero from your list. I think all of those titles would qualify as real games even under your definition. Perfect Dark was a launch title. While the other three did indeed sell a lot of members in these forums on buying a 360. Have we forgotten the dark times when the PS3 had no RPGs to speak of for almost a entire year.
Not to mention on the PS3 side titles such as Haze, Heavenly Sword, and Lair. I could swear that some people I know told me that those games were responsible for the PS3 taking off, and actually getting better sales. I know it is a little tongue in cheek, but seriously a couple of those titles probably sold a lot of PS3s even if they never actually lived up to their promise.
That said is this really a fair comparison given that the Xbox has to spread its sales over more exclusives anyway. It isn't like having more choice is a bad thing for gamers. In fact I think most of us like having more choices. I think that is also something that sells consoles.
P.S.
If your criteria is million sellers then don't even bother. This site isn't a definitive authority on that subject. After all games do continue to sell even if this site has stopped tracking them. You don't really think a game stops selling all together a couple months after launch do you. I would say five of the six games I listed have probably sold a million copies.
P.S.S
You really shouldn't trust this sites figures if they aren't independently verified. They have been proven to be wildly wrong in the past.
