According to Ars Technica, 3 GB isn't enough for an install of NintendoLand, which is 3.2 GB." http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Wii-U-3GB-Storage,19109.html Not sure if info is correct or not, but it would be really weird if it is. But maybe bigger potential problem I see is if both Microsoft and Sony go with SSDs inside their consoles - prospect of getting game data quickly from SSD into memory as default (with obligatory pre-installs) would, in my opinion, really mean a lot to developers, and having system in equation that only has 3GB of fast storage available would not be something that makes them too happy. |
Its correct and again, people buying the basic model are more than likely users who have no intention of downloading full games. This will likely not be an issue with a greater majority of that userbase. If it is, its very easily fixed with a $30 USB HDD. Just not an issue that many on this site make it to be.
