Surprised by the absence of OoT, RE2, FFVI, DKC, Sonic2/3/Knuckles...

Really surrpsied by the inclusion of Metroid Prime (I thought this would be overlooked), Cave Story (same), Animal Crossing (same), Okami (same), and Mass Effect 3 (I haven't played it, but given how disappointed fans were, it seems weird to include this game)...

Then Mario is tied with Metroid, and the best games of both franchises aren't in the list.
