4 Million played == 4 Million sold. Doesnt take into account rentals, people not connected to live or one copy in a household of gamers.

Psssh, who rents anymore. Thats sooooo 1990s days.

Nah but seriously hey 1st week sales are guaranteed 4 million +. Thats omething

http://www.vgchartz.com/game/51758/halo-4/

Hope you're right though.

...........

They said 4 million in 5 days.

Ohhhhh......piracy. 360 gamers pirate games , Halo 4 especially. Ill chalk it up to piracy.

There are Redbox terminals all over in the US, especially where I live. Almost all of them are currently out of Halo 4.

Many people rent since Redbox only charges $1.99/day, not to mention first time customers get the first rental free, plus I have used countless numbers of codes to get me additional free rentals.

It's how I played Uncharted 3 and Borderlands 2. Nothing like getting a game and beating it for less than $6.

Then remember we also have Gamefly.

Not saying the game didn't sell boat loads, because I am positive that it did. I myself predicted 3.8M.

Renters are kinda a minority. Its very plausible to say 500k - 1 million have torrented Halo 4 by now.

You'd be surprised.

Do they have Redbox in Canada? I know here on Long Island it is incredibly popular. $1.29 for a movie, $1.99 (Maybe $2.29) for a game. Redbox + Netflix = WIN.

It is very much worth it for anyone to take advantage of this before deciding on a full purchase.

Clearly you have not watch the South park episode on Halloween/Blockbuster. Red boxes were mentioned.
