Want to point out that this will not BLOW out Wii-U lol.

If this is true this would only be a bump up from Wii-U that isn't that impressive.

Btw when it says the developers have 16 or 8 that is develop kit so we are looking at 8 to 4 ram.

How much is OS also?

Anyway this funny to me.

Rumor is incomplete. Pretty sure the previous rumor months ago mentioned a dedicated graphics card on top of this APU. That's the only way PS4 would be able to handle 1080p, 60FPS 3D. A 2010 document from a Sony presentation states that a console would need to be 10x the power of the PS3 in order to support 1080p 3D at 60FPS in naked-eye 3D.(multiple viewing angles). That is the PS4s target performance. Blows the Wii U out of the water.

We have vague Wii U specs but from what I see, its not much more powerful than a PS3. It is only 2 to 3 times more powerful. I am being very optimistic here.

lol we have guillable one here.

Remember ps2 would be able to have Toy story like graphics in real time?
-Didn't follow news back then, but I say PS2 games like Ratchet and Clank definitely looked the part.

Remeber when they said ps3 would be able to do 1080 native p ?
-Yes, and it does. Wipeout HD says hi. It all depends on the game.

Just because someone wants something to happen doesn't mean it will happen.
-Thanks for the life lesson. I'm going off rumors, not what I want.

"dedicated graphics card on top of this APU"

AP10 if used as a dedicated card would be horrible so don't brag about it using both it is going to be forced too.
-Huh? I dont' understand what you're saying here. The AMD A10 APU is a CPU + GPU combined. The integrated GPU is rather weak on its own....a previous rumor mentioned that a dedicated GPU would work together with the APU.

" console would need to be 10x the power of the PS3 in order to support 1080p 3D at 60FPS in naked-eye 3D."

Let's see if know anything about tech what do you think the graphic card is?
-I have no idea. I just know that the APU mentioned in this rumor won't be able to output 1080p 3D at 60FPS on its own. This is why I advise you to go back and read some prevous PS4 specs rumors which mention a dedicated GPU.

Because it sounds like your hinting to 7970 it believe that you literally need to check yourself.

http://www.vg247.com/2012/04/04/report-ign-sources-detail-confirm-sonys-rumored-ps4-specs/

This is the rumor from earlier in the year. Back then they were using the A8 APU on PS4.(It is now using an A10, and will probably upgrade to something better once the final devkit is released)

And I quote..

"The A8-3850 has a quad-core 2.9GHz processor with an integrated graphics chip while the APU will “work in tandem with the system’s dedicated GPU, the HD 7670″ which is a DirectX 11 card “clocked to 1GHz with up to 1GB of dedicated VRAM.”

The HD 7670 is a version of 2011′s HD 6670 with identical specs and rumored to be the same card used in the next Xbox console.

The A8-3850 is an HD 6550D so the APU would be capable of running games “at baseline specs and lower resolutions without the help of a discrete GPU.” Put together with the HD 7670 and a “symmetrical CrossFire configuration” will be utilized to “share the load of realtime graphics processing.”"

I'm not that educated in GPU/CPU tech but these specs from earlier in the year sound more powerful than a Wii U. Specs have only been upgraded with each new leak.

7670 isn't a big leap from a 6670(rumored in the wii-U,.

You do know it is only one generation ahead right? You do know it's not even a great jump ?  6770 can easily do 1080 p graphics at 60 frames (depending on the game ) 7670 can do beyond 1080p but not by much or sometimes it can't

http://hothardware.com/cs/forums/p/59587/421195.aspx

It's basically a new 6670 but isn't impressive.

A10( just because it's number 10 not 8 doesn't mean it's the greatest thing ever) is really one big GPCPU so........ it's basically something the wii-u has but I don't know what the Wii-U is using at the moment for it's GPCPU.

But yea this is actually pretty funny how people are damage controlling this like this is some beast machine when really it's just a One gen older Wii-U with more ram. Btw both are able to do direct x 11 but 7670 is better at it.
