Im not outraged by the data and learning that a half hearted Mario platformer is holding its value well. I outraged by the fact that Nintendo made a half hearted Mario platformer in the first place. This game was their chance to envoke a sense of mission and gain some hardcore and loyal fans. But they failed epically. Beating the game was a walk in the park for me, had it done in 7 days. The graphics werent nearly pretty enough, the music in the game made me wanna cry. I actually played portions of it on mute. After playing Mario Galaxy head to toe I have seen and experienced what incredible things Nintendo can pull off and it just feels like they didnt sincerely try with NSMB Wii. It felt like a product rushed out to make all the fickle casual gamers happy and make them feel like they were a real gamer for a minute.

Also another point of failure on Nintendo's part is that they didnt include some type of in game explination of the affects of playing Wii on a HDTV with standard def cables. The wise amongst us know that this causes a slight lag between button presses on the controller and reaction on screen. I knew of several people who were complaining how hard the first world was and I was like. WTF??? then I asked about their cable set up situation and sure enough these idiots were running standard def cables on their hdtv's. Imagine how many people encountered this and were probably very turned off to the Mario Experience as a result.
