I was thinking that although my get the number of signatures required for a response (likely as far more than 25,000 voted for Ronmey in each state), the Obama held states have more people who would oppose such a move, making it a pointlessly symbolic move at best. Then remember that West Virginia managed it without really having popular support.
To me at least, they come across as rather self-centred and short-sighted.
