Except that America is the largest market for video game HOME consoles, and Home consoles only launch during the holidays in America (Sept - December).

 

They never launch during the spring.

So it's either HOliday 2013.....or HOliday 2014.

We will see. He was by far the first to say that all 3 next-gen consoles will be AMD.

2.  The GPUs of all 3 manufacterers are going to be from AMD.....but Not the CPUs...IBM's still doing the CPU's of Nintendo and Microsoft's upcoming consoles.

Here's where he says XB3 will be all-AMD. In May 2011 he said MS was deciding between an IBM Power CPU and an AMD one, hence also confirming that he knew PS4 was all-AMD in at least March 2011.

I believe this CHARLIE fellow has been mentioned on the BEYOND3D forums.

 

Needless to say, his word is not definitive as he's been wrong often and at least fairly consistently.

He even said the Wii U would play DVD's, which obviously isn't true.

If there is a Wii2 at E3, it will almost 100% a tarted up Wii. The GPU will do 'HD' now, and will play DVDs (not sure about BD though). I am pretty sure that it would just be a slightly upclocked Wii, if that, with the ability to do 1080p out.
