Why did Sony go with Super Smash Bros. too instead of Super Mario Bros. too?

when did i use opinion? i gave metacritic scores. in this thread i have never said in my opinion which game i personally think is better

Destroid. they have been giving almost every 3ds game a 5 or lower.

Meatcritic also has been taken over by fanboys.

Look at halo 4 I didn't like the game but hell some gave it a 20 on metacrtic wth?
