Why did Sony go with Super Smash Bros. too instead of Super Mario Bros. too?

when did i use opinion? i gave metacritic scores. in this thread i have never said in my opinion which game i personally think is better

1) It is a fact that LBP has a better metacritic score than SMB. But that does not make LBP superior than SMB or SMB superior than LBP because metacritics scores are based on opinions.

2) Bolded: You clearly said in you first post that you think LBP is better than SMB.

i said littlebigplanet is superior didnt say who's opinion that was, then in other posts i proceeded to explain why it was superior and gave metacritic scores. did i say in my post "in my opinion" ill even edit the first post just so people can see what i ment
