It really is a shame. Reading the article, I think he's asking the same questions that are on a lot of gamer's minds. As far as editing articles, I remember IGN doing something similar with Pixeljunk Sidescroller when a developer called them out on something. Problem was, they edited the article without even mentioning they edited it....one of the reasons I don't listen to IGN's reviews.
