This is Sony Santa Monica's first PS3 game, if the jump to God of War: Ascension is as big as GoW1 to GoW2 (like the devs said it will be) then nothing else will come close this gen. Beyond is looking fantastic and I have a feeling Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is going to blow people away with its visuals due to the first game looking STUNNING and this off-screen gameplay screenshot:
The three mentioned games will be in a class of their own next year as far as consoles go. With some current gen games already looking so incredible I really can't wait to see how amazing Sony Santa Monica's games look next gen! I think Stig Asmussen is directing a new IP from Sony Santa Monica for the PS4, E3 2013 should be amazing.
